broken links to BlackHole
« on: March 21, 2020, 02:40:18 PM »
At the time this post is written, we have three posts at Underfeet.store that rely on BlackHole for the file sharing.

* Makaylas Bare Feet (https://underfeet.store/video-5208-makaylas-bare-feet-view.html) posted by Hank Pym, reported by detlic992.
* 135 Mila Stickbug 1 (https://underfeet.store/video-5249-135-mila-stickbug-1-view.html)  posted by Malken, reported by krunch.
* Italian model fish crush (https://underfeet.store/video-5211-italian-model-fish-crush-view.html) posted by me and not yet reported.

Two of them are reported as link broken.
As a promoter of BlackHole, this situation concerns me.

I've just double checked the link of my clip and it's still valid.
So I would like to know more about the two broken links.

Question to the uploaders (Hank Pym and Malken):
- did you wait for the upload process to finish before copying the link?
- did you verify the link yourself before posting it at Underfeet.store?

Question to the downloaders(detlic992 and krunch):
- which web browser did you use for the download?
- which error message did you get?

Thank you,

I just checked that this link works perfectly ... hat wait for it to finish loading, and the SAVE window will open. It seems to me that the problem has the links that are compressed in .RAR and .ZIP ... now I will check that theory

Confirmed: The .RAR and .ZIP files, when finished downloading, the window to SAVE the file does not appear. If someone finds a practical solution for this, they will earn 20 points. For now, BlackHole will only be used for uncompressed video files.

That's right, indeed I can't download neither the small zip file posted here https://fatalfeet.net/index.php?topic=378.0.
Very strange.
I've tried with 3 browsers: Edge, Firefox and Chrome.
The first one is not supported, the other two fill the progress bar to 100% but then don't spawn the save as dialog.
I wonder if using their app would make a difference, but I'm not confident in installing new software on my PC.

Any news on the approval of https://dmca.gripe/ for file hosting?

At this point you can discard my repost of https://underfeet.store/video-5219-reupload-ok.html.
I'll re-upload it as new post with higher quality soon.

Loki, I see that you restored the post  "135 Mila Stickbug 1" (https://underfeet.store/video-5249-135-mila-stickbug-1-view.html) but not "Makaylas Bare Feet"  (https://underfeet.store/video-5208-makaylas-bare-feet-view.html).

Loki~

The problem affects only files uploaded via their website.
I finally installed their app on my Windows 10 PC, uploaded a zip using the app, and the generated link brings to a SaveAs dialog.
If you wish to try, I've put the link in this post https://fatalfeet.net/index.php?topic=378.msg914#msg914, it's a collection of thumbnails from CrushPalace.
